How my journey began

I didn’t grow up dreaming of a sales career — in fact, I was raised in a world where confrontation was avoided, and “selling” felt like something to run from. I started out my career as a technician, then contractor and designer, running my own small business. I never had the title “salesman” but was successful, by way of building deep trust with clients. I always felt like an outsider to the business world I saw from afar and felt a desire to experience the so-called “real world".

After earning an MBA to open new doors, I took a leap into tech sales — the clearest path forward for someone without a background in coding, marketing or finance. To my surprise, I found that sales wasn’t what I thought it was. With the help of a few solid mentors, I discovered the psychology, the strategy, and the human connection behind it… and it changed everything.

Since then, I’ve sold from nearly every seat and led teams across every revenue motion: from BDR to AE, channel partnerships to customer success, onboarding, implementation, account management, and even marketing. I’ve helped teams 3x revenue, 10x price points, cut sales cycles by more than half, and build systems that drive growth from the inside out.

My edge as a coach is this: I’ve lived outside the sales world, and I’ve thrived within it. I speak the language of non-sellers — founders, engineers, product teams, support reps, customer success and support — and help them understand how sales actually works. Because the truth is: everyone sells. But very few people are taught how to do it well.
